“EJC has supported very much groups in places like Zimbabwe and Senegal, where there are quite serious penalties for the LGBT community. We have been working with groups that allow them to learn how to reach out to the journalists”, says Lisa Essex of the European Journalism Centre (EJC). Find out more in the video.
Lisa is the author of several handbooks for EJC, on issues such as covering LGBTQI+ communities, development, and NGOs work with media organizations.
